Dr. Michael Lord
Dr. Michael Lord earned his doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Cum Laude, where he specialized in the treatment and rehabilitation of spine and sports related injuries.
While in school, he was voted to the position of National Student President of the American Chiropractic Association on Sports and Physical Fitness, of which he remains an active committee member. During this time, he was President of The Palmer College of Chiropractic Sports Council, and also spoke internationally at the Brazilian Chiropractic Congress in Sao Paulo. In 2009 he was given an awarded for his dedication to the advancement of Sports Chiropractic by the American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports and Physical Fitness.
Dr. Lord utilizes a functional approach in his assessment and treatment, customizing care to the individual integrating chiropractic, myofascial release, Graston Technique, Kinesiology Taping, and exercise rehabilitation. His approach involves educating the patients and including them as partners in their care.
Michael is originally from Wisconsin where he earned his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is currently the Medical Director for the Sea Otter Classic cycling event in Monterey CA, and is part of the medical staff for the Olympic Club Rugby team.
